Residential Artificial Turf Installation
Dead lawn, muddy paws, and a water bill that climbs every summer — most OC homes don't need more lawn care, they need less lawn. We replace thirsty grass with premium artificial turf that looks real, drains like a field, and stays green without a drop of irrigation.

Built for how OC homes actually live
- Front yards — curb appeal that survives water restrictions and August heat.
- Backyards — play space for kids and dogs, no mud, no bare patches.
- Side yards — those narrow strips where real grass never thrives.
- Pet runs — drainage-first turf systems made for multi-dog households.
- Rooftop and patio areas — evaluated case by case for drainage and anchoring.
What a proper install includes
A cheap install fails at the base, not the blades. Every residential project we quote includes:
- Removal of existing grass, soil, and irrigation heads (capped, not buried)
- 3–4 inches of compacted Class II road base, graded away from the house
- Permeable weed barrier under the base
- Turf seamed with outdoor-rated seam tape and adhesive, nailed perimeter
- Antimicrobial silica sand infill brushed in — not crumb rubber near kids and pets
- Full site cleanup and haul-away of demolition debris
Frequently asked questions

What will my yard cost?
Budget $12–$20 per square foot installed. A 500 sq ft backyard typically lands around $7,500–$10,000; larger or complex yards (poor access, tree roots, retaining) run higher. Most full residential projects fall between $8,000 and $25,000. Your written quote is itemized before any work starts.
Can turf go over my concrete patio or existing pavers?
Sometimes. Turf can be installed over concrete with proper drainage and padding, but it shortens the system's drainage design and can trap moisture. During the free estimate we evaluate the surface and tell you honestly whether removal is the better call.
My HOA has rules about front yards. Can you help?
Yes — especially common in Irvine and master-planned communities. Many OC HOAs allow artificial turf that meets color and reflectivity guidelines. We provide product samples and spec sheets for your architectural review submittal.
Will my dogs destroy it?
No — that's the point of pet turf systems. Fully permeable backing drains urine straight through, the fibers resist digging wear, and a rinse with the hose handles odor. No dead spots, no reseeding, no muddy paw prints on the carpet.
What maintenance does turf actually need?
Very little: rinse dusty or pet areas periodically, brush high-traffic spots upright now and then, clear leaves like you would any yard, and top up infill every few years. No mowing, fertilizing, aerating, or overseeding.
How long will it look good?
Expect 15–20 years in Southern California from a quality residential product with correct installation. South-facing yards fade slightly faster; we can show you UV-stabilized options if longevity is your priority.
